Young and Old Folks Equally Attracted by iPhone- Says Nielson
iPhone devices have broken new grounds and consequently taken communication to a new level ever since manufacturers have started flooding the telecommunication world with innovations upon innovations. Every now and then, iPhones manufacturers release devices with great features and superb functionality that lure users into wanting to possess every iPhone available. Users today have varieties to choose from and this is not limited to any age group going by the result of the research carried out by Nielson Wire.
The report reveals that, contrary to general belief that young people found iPhone more appealing, the old folks are equally attracted to the “magic” world of iPhones. It was discovered that iPhones users span from all ages and there appears to be approximately the same number of users from the ages of 13 to 24 as of those above 55 years old.
During the course of the research and of the random numbers of people interviewed, it was found that iPhone users between the age of 13 and 24 years old are about eighteen percent (18%). Equally, some seventeen percent (17%) among people with ages 55 and above uses one smartphone or the other. Of all the age groups reviewed, those between the age of 35 to 54 use iPhones most with a percentage of 36.
Although, there are diversities when it comes to what each age group uses smartphones for, it was learnt that 37 percent of users watch video on their iPhone, six times more than typical subscribers, 88 percent use the Internet, 75 percent download apps, and 72 percent use location-based services. A good percentage also uses the device for other miscelleoun applications.
