Motorola has released its latest touchscreen iPhone branded the Samsung Motorola Evoke (QA4) for cellphone users. This is one of the few phones targeted at customers who want advanced features, but don’t need all of the functionality of a smartphone. With a 2.8-inch full touchscreen, widget-based user interface and full HTML browser, the Evoke has some impressive specs for a non-smartphone.
This socially inclined phone, as it is referred to by some people, supports different messaging styles with a full touch-screen QWERTY keyboard and slide out traditional keypad. Turned on its side, the touch-screen, which is bright, and user friendly, can also act as a virtual full-touch QWERTY keyboard, making it simpler to write longer text messages—which predictive text and instant messaging features will also encourage.
Motorola brings many calling options to users, they can make calls using intuitive dialing features on the touch-screen, the slide-down keypad or a Bluetooth headset, since Evoke features stereo Bluetooth. Noise-reduction technology is also included for clearer calls.
The quad-band CDMA (Code Division Multiple Access) phone comes with a 2-megapixel camera, 256MB of internal memory, a MicroSD slot, a GPS and a full HTML browser with intuitive browsing and built-in integration with MySpace. It is easy to customize Evoke and bring the content that is important to you straight to the display. Use integrated widgets to access real-time information, social networking sites, and personalized RSS feeds1 from the Web such as weather, sports scores, stock reports, news headlines and more.
And it is as they claim, whether you stay connected through phone calls, messaging, Web feeds, social networks or all of the above, Evoke meets your preferences.
