Gotham Wave Games recently launched an application for the iPhone that turns the device into a realistic approximation of the groovy ’60s tabletop icon – lava lamp.
The so called iLava lets users interact with the virtual blobs of hot wax by allowing them to push lava around the screen with their fingers and push blobs together to merge them or pull them apart. All this can be done while listening to the music!
There are also two particularly improved features in this 4.0. Firstly, you can actually use the touchscreen to move the bubbles about, stretch them and squish them together and, secondly, best of all, this time it only cost $0.99 to download the application.
