The Acer Tempo DX900 and the Acer Tempo X960 are the latest smartphones released by Acer that was first announced at Mobile World Congress in February. The two phones are powered by Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional.
The Acer Tempo DX900 is the worlds first dual sim PDA that supports 3G and 2G. Dual sim means the phone can accept two sim cards so you can have two mobile phone numbers, networks and accounts in one device. Perfect for separating personal and business or use different networks to maximize availability and features and save on costs. The DX900 has all the features you would expect from the latest Windows Mobile PDA.
The Acer Tempo X960 is pitched more as a personal multimedia device with slightly less basic, more appealing looks and features it should appeal more towards the consumer market than hardcore business users. The Tempo X960 includes GPS, MP3 player, 3 mega pixel camera, WiFi and 3G amongst other standard PDA features you would expect.
The Tempo DX900 and X960 are now available for customers in Europe, the Middle-East and Asia Pacific.
